since they are $400 new, possibly $300 with a sony cc or dell deal, i'd say its a good deal. Go for it, $150 bluray player at the least

I only really want it for the ufc game and divx. It has no warranty and has the sixaxis so i figured i would offer him $150 for it.

It's a good deal. The only thing I use mine for is BluRay, but I bought it off CL for $100.

definitely its worth it. you can upgrade the hard drive to whatever size 2.5" drive you want, and you always have ps1/ps3 compatibility. at worst, its a $150 blu-ray and multimedia machine (which to me is awesome haha)!

It almost certainly does not (at least not PS2 BC). To the best of my knowledge, the 20 and 60 both had hardware BC for the PS2, the 40 had no BC at all, and the original 80 had software BC. I am also pretty sure that the new 80 and the new 160 are also lacking in any BC.

Right, the 40 GB and current 80/160 GB have no PS2 BC at all. All versions do have PS1 BC though, it's done in software for all versions.
