EDIT: mea culpa mea culpa mea culpa mea culpa.

Apparently, my mother-in-law walked through the garage carrying some stuff from her car and accidentally kicked the box we had the car suspended from. She put the box back but didn't realize that the car flew in between some junk. And since it was black, it was tough to see. Just need to clean the car up now.

OP:

Ridonkulous. We were painting it in the garage and we had just put a second coat of paint on it and left it in the garage with the garage door open to dry and air the garage out some.

We went out just a little while ago to put the final coat of black on the bottom and sides to find it missing. Some asshole punk just walked in and took it. Out of all the stuff I have in the garage, they took a kid's unfinished pinewood derby car. How f'ing petty.

Yeah, my son got real upset and started crying some because he's been so excited about making a "Green Arrow" car. Now, because I don't have a band saw, I've got to buy another derby car block and see if we can borrow some of his scout master's time to cut it again. He did something real cool and took a couple of band saws to the last scout meeting so that everyone could go ahead and cut their cars out.

Go steal theirs in return and then burn it outside of their house.

The only way they will learn.

Did you learn your lesson? Spend the couple bucks a year and put LowJack on the next one.

Why is no one jumping your shit for leaving your stuff unsecured? That's SOP for OT.

Damn, that sucks. :( Hope you get it back? Or make a new one, and own ass with it.

Im trying to think of the name of the show where they pretend to steal a car and then secretly customize it for the owner. Too bad this isnt the case though.

You should put a sign on your garage, "REWARD for missing Derby Car. No questions asked." Someone just might speak up!
