Yes, only one display shows up if I use two DVI connections. It appears that the second DVI port is the one that's the issue. If I plug an adapter in, and run analog > dvi, it's detected.

hrm. There are lots of types of DVI also. i think 4. maybe your display device doesn't accept this particular dvi signal, also... have you tried clone/dualview and other custom methods? maybe the refresh rate. I don't know why it works with a dvi-vga adapter, but not straight dvi. why not just use the adapter?

1) Looks noticably worse. 2) This video card distorts the native resolution really badly.

Possibly one of the displays cannot take the particular type of DVI signal. Your display could be one of these 5 types:

x2 Soyo 24'' Panels, Latest Drivers. One of the DVI ports works fine with both, the other does not, so I know it's not the fault of the monitor.
