My friend has a DSL modem card... (something i have never really dealt with before)...
Basically the phone line goes into the input in the card...the card acts as a DSL modem... He logons in thru dial up lan... PPPoE...
He just bought a laptop and a router... his computer has a built in NIC...
Q: How do I configure his network settings to make the NIC assign an IP... so that I could hook up the WAN in port on his router ?
I dunno if I am making any sense.
