It works for the most part, but not 100% correctly. I have it set up to use my Dell LCD monitor as the primary (left side) display, and my LCD TV as the secondary display.

Well it only does that after Windows has loaded. During the initial bootup, it uses the TV as the primary display (so I have to turn all the way around to see what's happening), and there's no display on the Dell. After Windows is done loading, the Dell comes online and the two displays get swapped.

I think windows will use the monitor that is plugged into DVI port #1 on your video card during bootup. Any settings you change in the nvidia drivers won't have any effect on how windows handles your monitors before you get to the desktop.

Bah, didn't realize that. When I used a single monitor setup, I guess I probably had the monitor connected to DVI #2. My expansion cards are mounted vertically, so it's not immediately obvious which port is #1 and which is #2.

I'll try switching the plugs around later. Thanks.

Anything in the BIOS that lets you choose primary display device? I've seen that quite often.

Well, I switched the two plugs around, and it's working like I intended. I kind of assumed that when you configure the settings, it saves those settings onto the video card's BIOS or whatever, but apparently not. Looks to be a Windows setting.

And I did apparently have the monitor on the #2 DVI port. But the way it's oriented in my case, it's the topmost port, so the position was a little deceiving.

From my last GPU upgrade, I also noticed that ATI and Nvidia number their DVI ports oppositely in that regard.
