Yeah, I wonder what those people will say now? ATI is on the record as not hiring schills for the ATF! I believe them unless evidence comes up in the future and Congratulate them for being the better company "ethically". If I only didn't wait every 3 years to upgrade, I would get an ATI card for my system

The guy who posted that question to ATI, Digital Wanderer, back in the R300 days, once received a 9700 Pro engineering sample for free from Catalyst Maker for being such a staunch R300 supporter.
I remember the day, it was all announced publicly. Digital Wanderer jumped with glee. The Catalyst Maker offered him the card for one reason, saying he deserved it simply because he could not afford the card he wanted so much.
That may not be totally ethical either, but it was a whole lot damn better than what took place with AEG, and a nice gesture from ATI.

Where is your proof that ATI directely or through a third party asked them to post around internet? Do they attack NV at every single chance. How do you know they lied?
There is a major difference between these guys and AEG group - public knowledge.

We know they do it, it's not hidden, it's not third party as AEG(that had a plan to attack all ATI shortcomings on top of NV positive buzz), and they do more than marketing as well. They OC big time. They fit 'beta tester' description much more than Rollo. They are more like NASCAR or F1 drivers with signs all over them.

Anand shared his view in his blog and disliked the nature of this AEG/Nvidia program. No decision from the mods yet. In short, not much.
