1. This situation has nothing whatsoever to do with things Intel might have done.
2. I don't see how this affects any of us- there will still be 19 vendors apparently. Also, we don't know if this is true, or the real reasons it happened. I seem to recall reading that EVGA had dropped NVIDIA about 4 months ago, yet they still seem to be business partners.
3. NVIDIA products are competitve at every price point, and leading at several. (e.g. Try and find a better $199.99 card on newegg than the MSI GTX260, or a better $380 card the the MSI GTX280 OC- won't happen) To say NVIDIA or ATi don't have competing products these days is ridiculous, competition at all price points is as close as it's ever been. (with exception of $500+, where ATi is alone for the time being)
