NvIdia Tech demos ONLY works in Nvidia cards? (and viceversa)

Yes, and no.

There is a patch available for the ATI Radeon 9500 and up that will allow you to play the nVidia Dawn demo.

Tech demo's and 3Dmark03 are currently the only 2 uses for a DX9 card. At least your not fooling yourself 🙂

Not that there is anything wrong with it. I just considered buying a cheap 9500 just so I could see the Dawn demo.
