Take it with grain of salt

Having hired a lot of engineers from Aureal, NVidia has alluded the world that graphics business is not enough. They have developed sound-core for XBOX and implemented it in the nForce core-logic. And now, according to quite reliable information, NVidia is working on standalone sound-processor.

If we take a look at the database of trademarks registered in the USA, we will surely find that NVidia has already submitted applications on the name SoundStorm. It is quite easy to guess what kind of development it will be.

Another question is when is it going to appear and what capabilities should we wait for. Since NVidia just loves to score, we assume that there are going to be something very interesting.

sounds logical..... one thing... they might have to spend some money buying soundstorm.com since it's already taking...
