Nvidia show

I attended the Nvidia show on Saturday but was amazed at how little interest the public had on the product launch. I'm not sure if this is due to poor marketing of the event for just lack of interest.

I was speaking to the Nvidia representative and he told me that only 300 people signed up for the event but less then 50 were there.

I'm sure if this was a Sony PS3 launch or xbox360 launch; they'd probably have to rent out the local stadium!.

Just curious for those that did attend:

What city and to the best of your knowledge, how many attended?

Toronto - 300 officially signed up but I would guess less then 50

Are they going to have any HTPC solutions for the Core 2 Duo like they have for AMD [NVIDIA GeForce 6150 GPU and NVIDIA nForce 430 MCP]?

I would think nVidia would throw more weight on that side, but then again how much is Intel willing to share?


I'd rather have the processing power of C2D but I hate the Intel onboard video solution.
