ROFLMAO!

That is some seriously funny stuff right there :D

Blizz release 3 games in six months? Diablo may have gone rainbow bright, but Hell hasn't frozen over that much yet. We will be lucky if we see both games get a release date(that will certainly be pushed back) by Q1 '09.

I only guessed because 3 years ago they were recording Voice and Music for Diablo, as for SC2 I read somewhere that they've already finished it and that they are only working on multiplayer part of the game.

only working on multiplayer could be a lot, or could be a little... i really do hope we will see it on Q1 09.... while it is unprecidented for them to do so, there are a few things..
1. They are swimming in money from WOW.
2. Those are buy once games that will not compete with wow, they will sell for 50$, and most people will play them for a week at most. So it is a type of game you invest a set amount in, and sell a set amount, and that's it, its over.
3. Those appear to be using the same graphics engine, which makes perfect sense for blizzard to develop one engine and put the SC2 and D3 on it, saving costs...
4. It does not compete with WOW, those are completely different kind of games...
5. Blizzard has been on a non stop hiring spree since the day they released WOW.

So yes, I do expect them to come out fairly soon, and fairly close to each other.

Based on Havok, the new physics engine is a bit of a blow for Nvidia which is currently pushing its recently acquired PhysX technology from Ageia. Meanwhile, Havok is now owned by Intel, although the company is now working with AMD towards getting the technology working on both AMD?s CPUs and GPUs.

the most interesting thing is that they said "AMD GPUs and CPUs".... what do they mean intel is working with AMD to get havok working on AMD cpus? they are both x86 compliant... unless havok specifically requires intels SSE4 implementation, in which case it will not work on any pre penryn intel as well...
So obviously whomever made that quote is absolutely clueless about anything. If he thinks some magic "work" is needed to make havok compatible with AMD cpus, I see no reason to take his claim that it will be GPU accelerated on AMD GPUs seriously.

It could mean that Havok is probably better optimized for Intel CPUs (Core 2 etc). So by working with AMD, they could optimize the Havok engine to get more performance out of AMD CPUs, especially newer quad-cores (Phenom, Denub etc).

The INQ : AMD lurves Physx on Radeon.

It seems that this AMD/nVidia physX thing is slowly materializing. CUDA + PhysX on AMD cards may come sooner than expected. If so AMD may find themselves holding all the cards for once (Havok+PhysX).
