Full OpenCL support in Windows and Linux. A very compelling GPGPU part. I know several organisations who have already acquired some for scientific computing purposes. nVidia is being challenged in GPGPU space.
I agree they could be clearing inventory for an updated part or to stimulate sales to maintain any advantage the may or may not currently have.
