First of all, no idea what you just said.

But there's a reason for IT departments, the average "joe" designer/artist will not just go on newegg select "price low to high" and buy what he thinks is right, when a consumer doesn't know what he needs, he asks for a product according to his needs from someone whoe knows, if his needs fit a WX7100 sure, if not there's more powerfull quadro offerings. and unlike gaming where its a hobby, and you can play just fine on a RX480, when doing pro graphics, time is money, and if one products will make your renders faster to complete, or just improve your work flow, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY, while gaming is a hobby, that brings you no money, you do it for fun, and you can play just fine on High@60FPS instead of ULTRA HIGH SUPER RESS@60FPS with more eye candy.

Best analogy would be getting a car (P5000 in this case) or a bike (WX7100), sure a bike would be perfect for just crusing down the street to a friends house, but if you want to get fast from city A to B, you NEED the car.

TLDR: Performance/$ doesn't matter in the pro-graphics market, this cards pay for themself in the long run, unlike gaming where you want the best eyecandy, somethimes you just NEED the horespower for you work= income= food on the table.

Good point. I've got to think the Quadro and WX market could not care less about branding.

These quadros would be way faster than WX cards, you'd really only buy a WX if you were starting out/broke or not very profitable. Would be like lumberjacks buying hand saws.

On the gaming front the Titan P is close enough you would buy that and water cool it to get close to the P6000 level of performance for 1/4th the price as a "bang for buck" solution. Would be a bargain compared to P6000.

At a company with big clients and/or good cash flow, the WX7100 choice by the IT buyer probably gets him or her fired.

Wrong ! It's really matter. It's completely depend on Company/Studio's Budget. Please Don't bring Rx 480 subject or Game.We talk about Pro market.what you are saying will not apply 100% to all companies.only small of percentage of pro market, they care about it.It's completely depend on their Project/Budget.they don't need to buy best card or pay most expensive card.Let's not go into flame war.

heh , This won't happen.they say "please provide X base on our Project/Budget!" you really don't need to assume that they're stupid and should be fired.

Any professional department who can benefit from doing a job faster (as in be able to do more work and make more money), is going to find spending more up front for a faster GPU, to be the wiser course of action. Of course a small mom and pop shop may not be able to make back the investment, so a few numbers should be run, but if time is money to that company, they'll most likely buy the faster card.
