Looking at Nvidia purevideo page the new 7800 dont do de/encode of wmv as other cards mention, its same as both the 6800U agp and pci-e in the specs 🙁

They f00ked another cards PvP ?.

Look at 7800 pci-e obv and 6800 pci-e and 6800 agp range they all have same specs, only the lower 6200/6600's have de/encode for wmv :Q

I wouldn't be too surprised after what happened last year - although if they're going to in theory support H.264 decoding with a later driver update, why would they not do WMV-HD too....?

Anyways the decoder works fine on my 6800GT (for DVD/MPEG2 anyways 😛)

Does it, well you better mail Nvidia and get them to edit the info in the boxes for 7800 card on the purevideo page specs on their website, cause it is same info for the f00ked 6800's

Goihng by that page alone it dont do wmvHD but the page could be wrong.
