Question NVIDIA Project G-Assist

A feature nobody asked for.

The newest thing Toms can reference AMD not having in a review? Box checked.

On a more serious note, do you have to login use this feature? I don’t know why that annoys me so much but it sure does. I am the backwards type that still uses a local account on fresh Windows 11 installs though…

The next on will be an AI that just plays the game for you. Not even joking, that is the next AI gaming development.

Didn't they remove that? I don't think you needed to login for that stuff for awhile now? And I think they're working on a new interface that rolls things into a coherent design.

Oh, guess I was wrong and the not having to login is happening with the new interface: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2024...uire-you-to-log-in-to-update-your-gpu-driver/

Also, oof, what hoops do you have to go through for that these days? Last I saw they made it even more difficult to not sign-in during initial setup. And they're pulling more and more shenanigans.

Let's Plays have existed on YouTube for over a decade now. You don't even need to buy the game either.

I'd actually like better AIs in games though. Most strategy games increase difficulty by just giving the AI a bigger head start rather than making them play better or make more intelligent moves.

Having a game that scales difficulty based on the capabilities of the AI would actually be pretty sweet, but it does require that the AI understands how to play the game to some degree and that's no easy task.
