"It’s the final months of the year, and as always that means a rush of new triple-A games that promise to excite and delight over the Holiday season. This year, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 and The Crew are tipped to take the glory in their respective genres, and to ensure the definitive versions are found on PC we’ve teamed up with Ubisoft to add NVIDIA GameWorks effects to each, bringing richer, more detailed experiences to your desktop.

Enabling ultra settings and the many GameWorks effects will require serious pixel-pushing prowess, as each game makes full use of today’s systems. For many that will mean an upgrade is in order, and from today if you upgrade your system with a GeForce GTX 980, 970, 780 Ti or 780, or buy a new GeForce GTX 900M notebook, you can pick the path of an assassin, a freedom fighter, or a racer, and download Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, or The Crew for free."

Game Launch Dates:

AC Unity - November 11
Far Cry 4 - November 18
The Crew - December 2

Awesome. Looks like we can pick up some of these games on the cheap once gamers start putting them up on EBay.

This is a good bundle by NV by providing diversity. With R9 290/290X prices going back up, AMD needs to drop prices because so far in most retail channels there are no large price drops on 290/290X cards outside of the US. Even in the US R9 290/290X are now too expensive with this NV bundle. Competition FTW!

Note: If you purchased any of the above GPUs/laptops, you may want to contact the retailer to see if you qualify for backdating of this coupon.

How often does this work? I purchased a MSI GT72 a few weeks ago from Newegg, and I just got some lackluster Intel bundle with it. It's already a pretty good laptop, but I wouldn't mind a free game. :p

I just sent Newegg an e-mail seeing if I could get a code since I bought a 970 in September. I'll post how it goes.

I'll ask Amazon to see if I can get the other code as I bought a laptop with an 860M a couple months ago.

thats good, I always hate the free to play stuff. I never use it and would much prefer any time of game I will forever own.

We know AC:U has issues, it's from Ubisoft, and I don't dig racing games (except Mario Karts, where the racing is a low priority :)), so...

Wow, surprised to see a game bundled with the 970 since demand still seems to be outpacing supply of those cards.

Amazon makes no mention of this anywhere on their site and when I called they have no idea what I am even talking about.

Do you think Far Cry 4 is from ID Software ?

I don't even think games from Id software are from Id software, anymore, so there.

If Zenimax had a $1 game with the video card, I sure wouldn't say no. If not for the promo, I'd probably have waited for FC4 to be $5 on a Steam sale. FC4 looks like the lesser of evils ('cause I'm not turning down free).

Newegg appears to be giving out codes if you purchased within the last 30 days and you chat with customer service. Amazon is not.

yeah amazon refused. lol they gave me a measly 10 gift card though.

I want complain too much though as they had already given me refund for shipping and they gave me a free year of prime since they could not price match my 980 with directron.com. not really finding prime very useful though...

Thats a nice selection of new AAA games from Nvidia. Now AMD should add Dragon Age Inquisition in the NEVER SETTLE game collection to up the ante. This game really looks to be game of the year contender. Running the Frostbite 3 engine its also a great looking game.

"I was one of the lucky few at EA’s event to test the game on PC (instead of PlayStation 4), and the first thing that struck me was how unbelievably good it looked. The graphical detail on Ultra settings is jaw-dropping: everything from the particle effects, to the lighting, to the textures looks incredible. It is easily the most visually astounding RPG game I have ever played."

I'm sure it will look incredible since it is using FB3, but I'm not sold on gameplay. I also think EA was smart to release now rather than early next year because of The Witcher 3 dropping February. Fingers crossed we get some new cards before TW3 launches.

Not bad choices. I am pretty pleased with the Space bundle I got from AMD. Was interested in both Alien Isolation and the ship for Star Citizen. Murdered Soul Citizen was a game I was interested in but with reviews being kind of meh didn't want to spend money on it.

Ubisoft games on Steam just launch Uplay, so what does it really matter anyway?
