Yeah, really, my voodoo 3 is worth more than that to me. I'm sure someone in the family will need it eventually and between paying to ship it Nvidia and buying a different card, it really doesn't add up. When they did the same scheme when 3dfx was alive, then it made sense. They should be doing this with Radeon le's and kryo 2s, not voodoos.

<< those who purchase a Verto GeForce3 Ti 500 by December 31 2001 will receive an added bonus -- a pair of i-O Display Systems'® 3D Smart Glasses, a $49.99 value. All Verto graphics cards come with PNY's signature lifetime replacement warranty and toll-free technical support. >>

For those looking to get the "big dog" anyways, this would be exceptable.

The prob is that the sliding scale of return makes it more trouble than its worth. This is clearly just a marketing gimmick with no substance to it. I believe the rebate was $10 on a V1 or V2, $15 on a V3 or V4, and only $30 for a V5. A V3 is a totally viable card on lower-end or second machines and the V4 and V5 are still good cards period, so those aren't really an option, and $10 on a V1 or V2 might just barely cover shipping. BFD.
