So .. I have the Creative Labs Audigy LS.

Currently, under sounds -> hardware, I have the "nvidia nforce audio codec interface" and "nvidia nforce MCP audio processing unit" turned off. (They were on before, turned them off). Do I really need them on ? Not sure what i'm doing with my system here =p. They've been off for about a month and I havn't noticed anything major. Am I missing something ?

And if i'm in the wrong forum, feel free to move this thread as well.

Thanks :)

That's your onboard sound. If you want to use your Audigy, then you can leave the nForce audio turned off. You can run two soundcards if you want though.
