Nvidia Network Streamer Service

OK, what is this and can I delete or kill it? I'm not a gamer and have no desire to stream games so why should I have something running, eating resources and CPU cycles, when I have no need or desire for it?

AFAIK it only reduces performance by 2-5%, the higher end only happens if you are running at 4K or higher resolutions. At 1080P it should be completely negligible.

I am running 4K...

I have disabled it from within "Services" and within "Task Manager" it no longer shows up. I do see the following NVIDIA stuff in Task Manager:

1. NVIDIA Backend (32 bit)
2. NVIDIA Driver Helper Service, Version 36822
3. NVIDIA GeFOrce Service (32 bit)
4. NVIDIA Settings
5. NVIDIA User Experience Driver Component

As well as

"Stereo Vision Control Panel API Server (32 bit)" which looks to be an NVIDIA program/driver of some form judging by the icon matching the other NVIDIA programs/drivers.
