Looks like Intel and AMD's APUs are finally squeezing these low end chips out. It was inevitable, but I'll kind of miss them.

TSMC you mean. Gotta figure Ada is too expensive for the mx pricing and they've already done an Ampere mx product. Maybe if they ever get another cheap node it will be back.

For now they are going to sell the 3050 6 GB as the lowest end.

MX series were often paired with Intel or AMD chips whose onboard graphics were often more powerful. Aside from checklist ticking, their main purpose was to drain laptop batteries!

Oh I forgot. There's also the 64-bit version of the 3050 4 GB. Dunno how it differs from the mx570 but if they did give it 2560 cores they could have called that the mx670 instead of having three (+?) different specs with the same 3050 name?
