Nvidia HDMI Audio Device conflict.

I'm having an issue in device manager. After loading the drivers for the Biostar mobo, a conflict was found with the Nvidia HDMI audio device. Also listed in d.m. is a realtek audio device.
Is this correct or is there a conflict?
The 2007 drivers are there however the device is not functioning properly. Also I found that the dvd-rom has stopped functioning/not responding.
I uninstalled the drivers in device manager and reloaded them. Still no fix.
Is there a known issue and solution?

Upon further looking I found the following problem: Memory Range FEFF0000 - FEFF03FF not available.
How do I correct this???

It's kinda tricky to get that thing to work. I assume tat you're using the on-board GPU? What is your OS? (XP? Vista?) In any case, try Windows Update (make sure you set it to 'check updates for other products')

Thanks for your reply. OS:Win XP home. I was following the same thought. The copy of XP is service pack 1 so I loaded all the latest updates. Conflicts resolved. However there is a new problem.
DVD-Rom not working.
I am usning the onboard RAID controller to connect just one HD. Not running an array. The Bios: Phoenix-Award (NF73V-M7). I think things are set wrong and the IDE DVD-ROM is being recognized as the HD and wont function as a CD/DVD Rom.
Does this make sense? If so how do I correct the problem.

You mean the DVD-ROM is recognized as a HDD in BIOS? (or in OS?)

Try this: In the BIOS, 'enable' RAID but leave all individual SATA ports 'disabled'. You may have to install NV's storage drivers for your OS.

Also in the checklist - who made your DVD-ROM and when? (i.e. model # and firmware date) I know this is pain but some less-popular DVD-ROM can act weird with NV chipset. Don't know if it's NV's fault or the drive makers' fault. (I had one such experience with a Pioneer drive)

The dvd is a Liteon Super all write with lightscribe model DH 20a4h. Also when I enable raid in bios and disable raid #1-4, I get a boot from disk error also the hdd is not recognized in bios.
My thoughts are to fdisk and load the raid controllers prior to OS.
Other things that I've noticed: After shutdown the mouse remains on. When I use the motherboard drivers cd it auto loads but when I try to load the dvd drivers and software the dvd-rom fails to auto load. When I try to manually open the cd through my computer/D: Atapi dvd a dh20a. I get an error that the D: drive is not responding.

If I leave the mcp storage config/sata operation mode set to ide, sata 1 devcie finds the hdd and loads the os at bootup.

If I have to fdisk, start from scratch, and load raid drivers, what is the best way to go about doing that. My guess is that I would set it to raid 0 since there are no other hdds being utilized.

thanks for your assistance. Be patient I am slowly gaining on the learning curve.

Not sure about the hotfix but I have all the xp updates and the UAA HD audio controllers are detected in add/remove programs.

The DVD is Liteon DH-20A4H it is listed as a DX-20A4H on the web site.
Liteon product link

I can use/play cds but it will not load/ play installation drivers or DVDs.

If there is a different hotfix please include a link.

Due to the fact that my problem is no longer a motherboard problem, I am going to start a new thread in peripherals to resolve the Liteon problem.
