I'm not sure how this is possible, but it's one of the first things I noticed.
I have a GTX 970 and a 7950 Boost.
When I play Advanced Warfare with VSYNC enabled with the 7950 Boost there is clearly less input lag than with the Nvidia card.
The Nvidia card performs better overall but the input lag is worse, and it is immediately noticeable.
Upon some quick googling I found this thread from overclock
