The stealthIII 540 series were S3 Savage4 based cards from Diamond. I remember setting jumpers on my card to make it 4x when I upgraded to a 4x board 😀 Used to play the original Hitman on that thing and think it looked good 😱

Nvidia's programmable video processor fiasco slightly trumps ATI's lack of X800XT PE cards in the retail channel for me at this point...they both get :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: from me at this point for those particular issues

My main MCE rig is working great for me currently however, and it has 4 ATI cards installed(AIW 9700pro <--- 2 years and still going strong!, HDTV Wonder and 2) eHome Wonder analog tuners) vs a NVidia chipset and Nvidia DVD decoders...so its clearly a 4 to 2 ATI win!

They've fixed everything except for their performance.
The image quality is much better than MX4000 cards (similar price point), but the performance is a bit slower. They've come a long way. Their multi-GPU cards sucked though.

I was not aware the issues were fixed, i would like AT to do a follow-up review on XGIs progress, that would be cool.

I knew they had some huge dismal performance issues in certain games as well. At least they fixed the crash and IQ bugs.

Root root for Team Nvidia.. they have vastly superior driver support and are never as quirky as ATI cards. SLI is just domination...
