On msi big bang xpower II, by default, the pcie gen3 is disabled in bios.
I have nvidia gtx660ti. Should I enable The pcie gen 3 option to get a better data transfer?
The latency is set to 32 . Should I increase it to a higher number in this specific configuration ?
thx!

PCI-E 3.0 and 2.0 are hardly any different... you could change it to 3.0 but you won't notice any gains with today's gpus. Once PCI-E 2.0 is bandwidth limiting then you should consider changing it... and by then chances are you won't even be using that motherboard any more.

Ye, forget about PCIe 2 vs 3 for the next few years. And just let the settings be at default. There is no magic performance to gain.

Got it !
What about the latency ? Is it a good idea to lift it at 64 ( or higher) while editing video? I don t have any other devices on the PCIE slots but I have the Samsung 128 GB SSD 830 series which has to catch the bus too.
By default the bios would set it up to 32.

Alot of devices actually sits on the PCIe. NIC for example.

Just leave it as it is, as said, you wont see any difference.
