hello,

nvidia seems to advertise their 'unified driver architecture' ...

"Unified Driver Architecture (UDA)
Guarantees forward and backward compatibility with software drivers. Simplifies upgrading to a new NVIDIA product because all NVIDIA products work with the same driver software."

the problem is, i can't find any 'uda' drivers for my gffx 5600go ...
does anyone know if there are any, or how to use the 'uda' drivers from nvidia with this grafic card ?
(currently, i'm using 44.22 for mobile)

thx

thx

and yes, but they dont work (with me) ...
as they don't support geforcefx 5600go

this is what i did:
-boot xp safe mode, uninstall drivers, boot xp
-extract uda drivers, update driver and manualy select .inf (but no 5600go)
-choose geforcefx 5600 (normal, no go)
-reboot xp, but my desktop is scrambled ....

i think i read somewhere there is a workaround to enable those drivers for 5600go-series, but i'm not sure :D

Oops I forgot mobile gpus you need to check the manufacturer of the laptop. If it's a dell look for the drivers there. What's the model of the computer? Nvidia's forceware
will have support for the mobile gpus. Have to wait till october to try them out.

ah :) forceware coming in october with mobile support, that would be nice !
since i like to be up to date, but i don't like experimenting with drivers that much (to search everywhere for 'possible' working drivers)

btw, i have a gericom hummer fx 5600 (european brand), but my experience with mobile driver support (any brand i think) is that they don't update their drivers that often ...

thx
