Comeo on guys lets get this thread on topic. The 4200 will massacre both of these cards to no end. If you only want to spend around 90 bucks then there really isn't a decent upgrade option. If you had tothe 4200 would be your best choice. Also look for a used 9700 9800pro or a 5900XT. That will be world better than any of em.

Cmon lets just drop the rest of this nonsense.

That might not be a bad choice. Along near the same line, you should also check and see if there are any 256bit 9800SE cards available in your area, as those should be priced around the same.
Particularly, a Powercolor brand one. C3 model if at all humanly possible.

The lowest I have seen a 9800SE 256bit is $145US and that was at Newegg, and last I checked, they were higher than that now. But the capability to mod them to a 9800 and possibly OC them to 9800 Pros is an awesome value for the money.

The PowerColor 9800SE C3 doesn't need to be overclocked after the softmod, because it comes at the 9800Pro stock speeds (380core/340mem) and it's a great buy (for me atleast), even if the softmod doesn't work, it performs as good as a 9600XT for the same price. The only problem is that it's not available in Europe (I guess), but since you (the OP) said you're gonna use your PC only for gaming, I suggest buying atleast a 9800Pro, it won't cost you more than 150euros and it's the best bang for the buck ATM. The next cheaper solution would be a 5900XT 128Mb, next is 5700Ultra, 9600XT and at the end a 4200TI.

I'm willing to spend around 150 euros on a video card. So far I'm liking the 9800 Pro, do you reccomend this card? Don't get too in-depth, I'm not that experienced with video cards. Plz

AND GUYS, PLZ STOP FIGHTING!!! THIS IS GONNA TURN INTO A FLAME WAR!!

A GF4 TI4200 will do you justice for CHEAP. It will run what you want it to just fine, except you might have to drop Doom3 to 800x600 with low quality. However, don't get me wrong, a little more money will give you a bit more power.

If you have a bit more money, get either a TI4800SE with VIVO or an ATI 9600Pro/XT - the 9600 being the faster card.

If you can get a hold of a 9800Pro or better for your budget, take it and run. It will outperform nearly all of nVidia's FX line.
