Hi Guys, can you tell me which of these 2 Graphics card is better?
1) Nvidia GeForce 9500GT
2) ATI Radeon 4350

I want games like NFS SHIFT2, DEAD SPACE2, etc to run smoothly..

HELP!!

Hmm.. So can U Guys suggest me which card would be BEST suited for my machine?? Here's my CPU details --

Processor: Intel i3
Motherboard: Intel DH55TC
RAM: 2GB DDR3

and what else do U Guys need to know?

what is the exact cpu?
what resolution do you want to play at?
what is the exact details on your power supply?
what is your budget?
what OS are your running?

and you will need more than 2gb of memory to play some modern games.

The 9500GT is much faster than the HD 4350.

You should just give us your budget and a link to the website/retailer you are buying from.

Or you could just list all of the cards you find that come under your budget. Then we can tell you which is the fastest.

Judging from the cards you're looking at and inferring what kind of budget your on, any card should suit your system fine. The Core i3 isn't going to have a problem pushing the cards in your price range.

actually the 9500gt can easily play Dead Space 2 on max settings if using a lower res. both cards do suck but the 9500gt is much better than a 4350.

Maybe if you are running at 640x480 on your 12" CRT monitor.

Seriously I don't think it would handle max settings very well at any common resolutions.

You should probably save your money till you have at least $70-100 to spend. Lots of deals to be found in that range that will get you a card that could play games on a 20 or 22" monitor.

yeah but think about the context here. the op is asking about low end cards so he likely is not gaming on high res monitor. next someone replies saying a 9500gt can not play Dead Space 2 smoothly. that is not true because it can handle high settings at 1280x960 and very high settings at 1024x768. really even at 1280x960, very high would be considered playable by most people.

and well it turns out he is at 1360x768 so yes he could play it just fine on high setting at the very worst. of course I would still recommend a much much faster gpu for gaming in general since dead Space 2 is hardly a demanding game.

How about Nvidia GeForce 220 GT? Is it a good performer?
its not much faster than a 9500gt. you need something like a 6670 since Nvidia really does not have anything worth a crap on the low end.

and please look on your power supply for the wattage it can make.
