I have a Ti 4200 and an FX 5200 I just got. Which is better?
I got 2 Geforce 5200 by Asylum and 2 Geforce MX400. I will be selling all new in the sale Topic.

I used to have a FX5200 and so did a bunch of my friends. Those cards are paper weights.

are the 5200FX roughly? Geforce 3 levels?

If so because I'm thinking of getting one cheap to replace my venerable mx420

umm, no.

Geforce FX5200 (128bit) is at GF4 MX levels. So for you to change to a 5200 from your current card is nothing more than a sidegrade. There's also a 5200 (64bit), if you get this, it's a downgrade :disgust:

the above continous chain of quotes is NOT a coincidence...

Ti4200 > FX5200 > MX400

I'm still gaming with a Ti4200 o/ced above 4600-levels.
For the time being, the card still rocks :)

I got a Geforce Fx5200 Plus...its maker is Mad Dogg but its a Geforce FX5200 Plus. Is the plus better than the TI4200 I have ?

Unfortunately, no.

Those speeds are still under even FX 5200 Ultra spec.

If I was going to get a 5200 class video card, I wouldn't and save up a little more for at least a FX 5700 Ultra for FX 5900SE/XT.

ATI's camp, I would opt for a 9600XT or 9800 non-pro.
