They used a fact to make it sound like they're cutting the whole line, but this is not true. Nvidia stopped producing only the 5800 Ultra chipsets after 100k but is still churning the lesser chips. This "news" broke a couple months back IIRC. It can be seen that Nvidia did in fact stop the 5800 Ultra line because mostly only preorders were filled and you'd be hardpressed to find one on the retail channel. I thought the same thing a month back. Believe me, after the flames subsided I had to concede it was NOT true. The 5200 lineup is only proof-positive the GFFX is very much alive.
