Nvidia Forceware drivers- Do I need it?

You're refering to the Drivers that are part of the NF4 Chipset package - right ?

Don't install them (or the IDE drivers), they cause most people nothing but trouble.

They have some kind of Firewall function if they're the ones I'm thinking of - and they usually don't work.

 
arrg.. yup, ide drivers just killed my system. it's hanging at the Windows logo screen 🙁

did that... got back into windows, but the lan driver is screwed. it's not working and i cant uninstall, or reinstall. file is locked?!

this is a new machine, so re-ghosting.

thought nvidia was better than that 🙁
