Well damn. I'm stumped. I went back to 163.67 which had been working beautifully before, and TF2 crashed in just a few seconds.

I used a driver cleaner, so I'm pretty sure it's not a conflict with an older driver. I really don't know what else it could be now.

Update: after first crash using 163.67 again, I opened the game back up and played for an hour without any problems.

For me, LoTRO is butter smooth maxed out - even more so than 163.67. Also, in SLI mode, at a certain distance, settings maxed out, people had flickering crotches. This driver fixed that issue, but I don't see it noted.

when will the "bug" (where in some games/cases, 320M version has horrible fps) for 8800GTS 320M be fixed? Is it really a bug as Nvidia said anyway?

I can see the patch note now...

*Flickering Crotches in Lord Of The Rings Online has been corrected. All characters at all character depths should now retain their crotches fully entact.
