Ok, this is over and done with, but I have to ask...

Is there going to be another poll taken for a forum moderator? or is BFG going to "hold down the fort"? or is Derek going to become more active?

just a thought.

Derek will not be stepping in to cover for keys leaving.
If BFG feels that he is being overload briefly, there are other Moderators than can step in to assist.

If the overload is continual, then Derek will decide if another Moderator should be obtained for Video and how.
TBH I see the overload already.

I'm certain that there is a multitude of upstanding members here that would be willing to help out if needed.

For whatever reason, Video seems to be a magnet for flame wars and immaturity.

I also retrospectively can see the difference that Keys made to our forum (already!). I was by no means hoping that he would step down as mod. I simply wanted to open the discussion as to his involvement with NV and what it meant to our boards. I do not regret opening the discussion, (which was evidently ongoing amongst some of the mods anyhow) however I do regret the final outcome.

We see what you do. I'm working on it. We'll have more eyes on video soon.

Keys didn't step aside only because you brought up the subject ... it was his decision for his reasons based not just on what you or anyone in this thread said or brought up, but the situation as a whole.
