Hi all.I saw an option in Killing floor 2-Nvidia Flex but I can t use it because I have a gt 630 for the moment.I check on NVidia site and nowhere specify what version of GeForce work this NVidia flex.
So my question is: -on which version of gtx will work this flex for sure? on gtx 6xxx is work,or I need gtx 7xxx series at least for this flex??

From my understanding of "Flex" it's just a new level of physics (PhysX) interaction where objects affect other objects. I don't actually own this game, so I haven't actually seen it in person outside of the image linked on AT's article:

Could be you just need to update your drivers?

look is very very nice this implementation,i love this and I want to buy a GeForce card which support for sure 100% this Flex
look at flex simulation blood :

I'm guessing this is a GPU PhysX feature, so you'll need an NV card to run it.

Let me see if I can find the requirements for Flex...

Seems to be just part of the GPU PhysX library. So, you'll probably want a decent card for it depending on your resolution.

Probably best to just jump straight to 900 series. I wouldnt waste time buying kepler gpus now.

Yeah, he has a 630 right now, so going with a 950 or a 960 wouldn't be a bad idea. It'd be proportionally faster than his previous card was during its generation, but not too expensive.

HuNTeR-, Just keep in mind that fancy effects eat up extra GPU horsepower, and that includes the Nvidia Flex (PhysX) effects. So, if we look at the two cards that I mentioned above, it might not be the worst idea to consider the more powerful one (the 960) because of the hit that you'd suffer from using GPU-accelerated physics.

I wouldnt even bother with a 960 or 950. They're both pretty weak offerings altogether. Go straight to the 970, you can find them for pretty cheap these days and it'll last longer.

I suggested some lower-end units since we don't have any sort of budget, and since he already has a lower-end GPU, I figure he'd probably want to keep the price down a bit.

No u all understand wrong.Infact I want a strong video card.Today I sell my video card a hd 7970 ghz windforce 3x I have a part of money but I must gather some money 😀. this gt 630 is to survive until I buy another video card.
To be honest I want to buy a gtx 690,but I'm not sure if support Nvidia Flex 🙁
And I want to buy gtx 690 not because I'm fanatic, because I found this card second and cheap

Kepler supports Flex.

GTX680 is Kepler GPU - GK104-400-A2 chip

GTX690 is 2X GK104-400-A2 chip

GTX690 supports Flex.

I have an alternative between 2 cards:
1.gtx 690 at 280 USD price without warranty
2.gtx 780ti at 350-360 USD without warranty

Somebody try to sell me an gtx 970g1 gigabyte windforce3x at 350 usd price without warranty like 780ti price.

Dilemma 😀

I'd rather have a 970 than a 780Ti I think.

Performance is near identical now, but the 970 uses much less power and the 970 supports more dx12 features, so it should have the edge in the future.

690 is not a good card. A 970 is vastly better. You can buy a 970 at $300 in the US new, so I have no idea why you'd buy one for $350 used... Dont buy the 780 Ti and especially not the 690.

thx all.I try to buy a gtx 970 card if u say are better, but I read on internet about gtx 970 and many people say have only 3.5Gb ram not 4. in games gtx 970 use only 3.5 gb ram.Is true?
Linus Tech Tip explain on youtube about gtx 970 and issue with 3.5 gb ram 🙁

It's a huge improvement over 2GB in the 690 and an improvement over 3GB in the 780 Ti. It shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't game at 4K.

Dual cards like 690 not the most optimal for anything PhysX or Cuda based as calculations will be done on one GPU only so there will be microstutter as one gpu will take slightly longer to render a frame than the other resulting in 60fps feeling like 30fps.

On the other hand if you can disable SLI for these games so it is rendered on one GPU only, leaving the other GPU for PhysX, Flex and Cuda calculations, It should play nicel but you will lose half the 690's rendering power.

If I give up at gtx card and flex technology and I choose hd 7990 is fine?7990 is a good card?I found this card at same street price.

Another dual card, power hungry and will produce a lot of heat. There are cheaper more powerful cards available.

What version works and what version would you want to run it on are two very different questions. I have a 770 4gb and run a dedicated 750Ti and still have some frame rate issues with KF2 when there are lots of gibs and lights. I personally wouldnt want to run it on anything less than a 970 without dedicated physx
