Cookie one of the main complaints of the guy leading this lawsuit is that when they brought up issues with the drivers on the nVidia user forums they were deleted and banned.
My feeling on this lawsuit is nVidia screwed up but is it lawsuit worthy probably not.
You want to know why anyone who said anything bad about Nvidia was banned and the threads deleted? Because it turns out one of the "Moderators" is none other than Rollo, the uber-Nv fanatic. Only he goes by the name "Brian_S" over there. Isn't that a laugh? The guy who was banned from four different website forums is now one of the people in charge of the Nvidia forums.
He used to have a sticky in the Forceware Drivers forum stating that anyone who posted negative things about Nvidia would have their thread deleted and could have their account banned. :disgust:
This is actually all true.
Make it be known- I prefer Nvidia for both their leading hardware and their superior driver support.
But I am not a mook for any company, nor am I blind to any corporation.
Word on the street is that Rollo is afraid to come back here. Hes a mod at the official NV forums, as well as Geforce3d.net.
Shocking, considering how much damage hes done to the real NV fans.
When I say real, I mean- unpaid.
As far as this thread, this lawsuit is a joke. Its fun for the AMD crew to get their jollies off. But its not only needless, but a suit that is a waste of time.
If someone here (besides AMD themselves) is paying legal counsel to look into this class action suit..
as a friend let me tell you.. stop it now.. you're wasting your money.
The conversation I'm sure is entertaining for the AMD crowd though.
I own a 8800GTX, those vague statements by Nvidia have not only been through the legal more times than days you've been alive.. but the 8800 works fine.
1. Vista is new. 2. The card works. 3. Quit being a dumbass or sell your card (if half of you even own a G80).
