My drivers are recognized my Samsung as a CRT when it's an LCD. This is an issue because I want fixed aspect ratio scaling(for black bars instead of stretching).

Try these and see if it helps at all. If not, is there anyway to force it as a LCD?

I was already using those drivers at your recommendation. To the second question, nope.

Try the older XG 84.37's then (second best XG driver behind the 91.31's). It may be a driver issue. If it still doesn't fix it then maby you could flash the monitor?

Are you using some kind of DVI-VGA adapter? Or is it just reporting it wrong?

What do you mean by flash the monitor? Nope, no dvi-vga adapter, it's just reporting wrong.

Ahh, I tried the 84.37's and the same result. I am doomed.
