I'm using 82.65 drivers I found over at Tweaks R Us. I checked the GPU temp and I'm running SLI. The 1st card is 50C and the 2nd card is 54c just on my desktop surfing the net.

This seems a bit high to me, any thoughts on what it should really be for just surfing the web, what I should expect?

I just noticed that there is nVidia Forceware 83.62 WHQL 32bit/Eng, so I'll try those as well, to see how they do.

What should we expect as normal desktop Temps and gaming temps?

THANKS

Mine idles about 48-54 and gets all the way up to about 78 under laod. As long as your not seeing artifacts and games are running fine i wouldnt worry about it because its still well below the threshold

I saw artifcats playing Americas Army, but the I'm running dual core on a X2 3800, SLI. So now when I see something like this, it makes me wonder if it has anything to do with my CPU and 2 vid cards. Thing was, some how before I had these cards at idle around 47c now they're idle at 51-54c and I'm trying to figure how they where running cooler before, because I'm using the same drivers.

Could nForce drivers have a effect on GPU performance and cooling?

THANKS

evga told me in the 60C range is ok but if it gets up into the high 70s then this is bad, correct? So in the range of somwhere in the 60s is ok?
