I like how poeple are alawyas like ooOO these drivers made my 3dmark05 score go up. Yeah but who cares about 3dmark05 scores. At times companies like ati and nvidia will put out drivers only to do a certain task namely in this case increase benchmark scores. They do so becuase poeple out there who will buy a graphic card for its performance in benchmarking progmrams.
You guys are not playing the benchmarking as a game. People are playing doom 3 and cs:s. Its just annoying about how poeple talk about their increase due to new drivers in benchmarking programs. Becuase really it doesnt do anytihing toward performance in a game. What really matters is the fps increase in game that poeple play.
What i really want to know is the best drivers for my eVGA 6800GT for games like doom 3 and cs:s. Any one want ot recommand anything.
