Nvidia Drivers cause Windows 2k to hang at start up

Hi everyone,

Do you guys have any idea what could be causing my computer to hang for a few minutes at the windows loading screen before it actually enters windows after I install the Nvidia drivers on my computer for my MSI Geforce 3 Ti 200 Pro TD? It didn't hang before I installed the drivers and if I uninstall the drivers, then the windows loading screen time goes back to normal. I've installed the motherboard drivers already and this is on a fresh copy of windows 2000. Thanks!

Ti 4400 + 53.03 works fine on my Win2k Pro install. Try using driver cleaner or something like that to make sure you got all the bits of the last drivers/.

Ack! Just finished reformatting and reinstalling the driver. It still hangs again. Any ideas? Could it be the video card itself? Should I try using Windows XP?

Hi everyone,

Well, i got the drivers to work. I just had to use the cd that came with the graphics card. For some reason, NVidia's own graphics drivers as well as the drivers available on MSI's own site for this graphics card doesn't work. Hopefully this post will be able to help others! Laters!
