your Aopen 6800U bios file shows:

rev. 5.40.02.10.15
2D mode = 300x600 1.4v
3D mode = 400x1100 1.4v

anything higher then that is being done thru software
 
Something to think about but if you're using manufacturer's drivers etc I don't see anything to worry about as long as it's under warranty. Nvidia may overclock my card but at least it's not like an ATI that makes my PC reboot during some of my most played games.
