How come the release drivers seem to be 18MB or so, but quite a lot of the betas are only <10MB. Do the official drivers have a load of extra stuff with them?
If so, is it useful/needed? I don't want to do a freaking 18.8MB download of the 44.03's on a 56k modem if I can download some 9MB beta drivers (44.65) that have all the same stuff and might be better in terms of performance/other stuff.
Why do nVidia have such big drivers on their site when betas are so small. And do I really care about their Unified Driver Architecture when their driver packages are so freaking big?!
I wish I had an ATi card.
(I have a Ti 4400 @ 300/600 using the 41.09's at the moment).
