nvidia display and nforce drivers

well I know usually the newest drivers are the best but it seems that nvidia has stopped making newer drivers that increases performance. I am starting to get less performance from my computer in general with the newest display drivers for geforce and the newest nforce drivers for my mobo. anyone know which versions of the drivers will work the best for a geforce 4 ti4200 and a MSI k7n2 nforce2 mobo? thanks for the help!
