So now we know why they hired the aureal employees. Probably won't be long until Nvidia will enter the pc sound chip market; in fact they are becoming a major pc chip maker and nvidia's next targets are via and intel.
 
i don't know that that saying is appropriate concerning international corporations. It would be nice to have "universal" sound drivers as well as video. NVIDIA might just give the whole industry the kick in the azz that is needed. Hopefully they won't fall in the rut that most other large companies keep slipping in and out of.
 
According to news sources Nvidia already missed their fall release date for NV20, could this be an indication of things to come? Xbox seems to have taken alot of Nvidia's time, perhaps even more than they are willing to let on considering the missed fall PC product...
