LOL. :)

Features will include a 733MHz CPU, a custom-designed graphics chip capable
of processing more than 1 trillion operations per second, an 8GB hard drive,
64 MB of total memory, a 3-D audio processor with 64 audio channels, and
broadband connectivity for online game play.

One of Aureals biggest problems was when something like 10 key engineers of their sound crew took off, and headed to nVidia. These are the guys that created A3D, and were working on A3D 3.0 when they left. Now nVidia is comming out with an advanced 3D audio chip. Hmm. X-Box is gonna have something like A3D perhaps? ;)

Have a look here also

Maybe nVidia will soon be entering the sound card market also. Keep an eye out :) :)

:D :D :D

Whoah... But aren't the speakers in TV sets situated a little too close for that?

It can be optimized. just like you have the option to change between Headphones, and speakers in the A3D control panel.

Maybe they'll combine the graphic and sound onto one chip. I'm drooling at the prospects! :)

True but you still get directional effect. Besides with AC3 support = HTS :)

hmm true bart. Creative seems to be worse then Microsoft when it comes to dealing with competition.

Im sure nVidia can find away around it. And I hope they do!

I doubt Creative would risk losing a chunk of their business (selling Nvidia based graphics cards) just for defunct A3D tech.
