Nvidia Control Panel..?

I have just sold my kidney for a GTX295 but I have a few questions relating to the setup in the control panel.....?

If I have Physix enabled does that mean I am only using one GPU for games while the other
handles the Physix only...or I am still using 2 GPU's for gaming and the Phsyix is a bonus.

Also I hate tearing in games so I always enable V SYNC but do I add the triple buffer or double etc....and in relation to the AA & AF to I over ride or enhance the application.....and do you only use one or both?

Thanx

No, one gpu is not dedicated for Physx only. That would defeat the whole purpose of having dual gpu's for more frames in your games. Both gpu's will will work in tandem to make your games more playable. Physx right now is merely fluff imho, certainly not worth a dedicated card to handle it. Your card will be able to handle rendering the games and any Physx it might encounter 🙂

As far as anti aliasing/anisotropic the setting you choose is up to you. The choices are kind of self-explanatory. Use the in game setting, override the in game setting, or enhance the in game setting. If your games don't provide the choices you desire, use the override function and crank them up in nvidia's control panel.

Hmmm, I have read that this is not the case....I am stumped here TBH.... I am not getting the performance I taught I would get over the 8800GTX. Not that the 8800GTX was/is a bad card
it was playing everything that I am playing now at the same settings incld Far Cry 2 and L4D. Thats why I questioned the settings of the Physix option....if I was in effect only gaming on a
glorified 260GTX It would make sense.....Grrrrrrrr
