Nvidia control panel - Settings file location?

The hard drive on my laptop got corrupted somehow. Installed a new hdd and i'm trying to get things setup and back to normal.

I am able to view the files on the old hdd with TestDisk. I have not been able to fully recover the partition table to make the drive bootable again though.

Does anyone know if Nvidia control panel color settings are saved in a file somewhere?

I copied the old ones files and replaced the current ones, rebooted with no change.

you cant copy old files.you have to make new one

Well, there's only two files in the Control Panel Client folder. The control panel client.exe and a dll file.

I guess i could poke around the dll file with a hex editor to see if it contains any info.
