Ever since I started running my 9600GT's in SLI, navigating the nvidia control panel has become horrendously slow. Simply adjusted color settings (digital vibrance, brightness, etc.) takes well over 30 seconds. I opened up the resource manager and it says nvcpl (or whatever the task is called) is eating a sustained 40% of my 3Ghz (on both cores!)

Is anyone else affected by this? It's bugging the ever living sh!t out of me and I can't find a single mention of it anywhere!

Yes, in fact I used driver cleaner prior to installing the new WHQL

Well this is sort of an update to another thread altogether, but I'm using it as an opportunity to bump this one :)

Anyhow, after using driver cleaner and install 174.74 WHQL Hellgate london is exceeding 100fps and never dips below 30. Yay!
