nVidia cForce processors?

It seems with nVidia so strong in the AMD chipset market, the graphics market and now going into the Intel chipset market, what will they go into next?

When do we see those nVidia cForce processors? 🙂

I think he was making up a name for a future CPU which he thinks/hopes NV will manufacturer. Not sure if he has heard rumors of this, but I don't see it happening.

Why not:

AMD and nVidia merge into a new powerhouse PC corporation: AMDnVidia Corporation. Sort of like ExxonMobil, JP MorganChase, LockheedMartin...

That would take far too much R&D money for them to get into full blown PC processors. Their gfx division must soak up the majority of their R&D budget. That is a hell of a cutthroat market, and until they achieve complete market dominance in that sector (highly unlikely), I don't see them as having the money to go into any sort of reasonable CPU production.

AMD and nVidia merging isn't going to happen when nVidia just inked a contract with Intel to make nForce for Intel procs.
