Well he does have a point, a million threads on the internet and everyone asks about fixes when they can easily see themselves.

People wann get sppon feed....instead og actually clicking links...or using Google...sad.

But Lonb, you're a mousetrap that springs even without any rodent gnawing at your cheese. Save it for when it's appropriate. Much misplaced angst. I will send you beer.

:D

OT:
There will likely be more performance and stability improvements with continued work with the dev. But so far so good.

I'm just reacting to the state of ATF...and read my sig...to many people have a problem grasping that concept....

Been there man. And sleep is a treasured thing at that time too.

Yeah, My little one is just over 2 now and finally I'm starting to get some "me" time back. =) I wouldn't change it for anything though.

Was up till 2 last night playing Tomb raider finally and the game is sweet.

This was an opportunity to see how nVidia's driver and developer relations teams handled an unideal situation -- no whining - an explanation why -- apologies -- did go to work to improve the experience.

I keep getting about an hour and a half into the new X-Com, only to not be able to play it for two weeks and then just wanting to start over again. Going for attempt #3 today! Haha.

I did some testing on my 570 SLI system. 1080P+FXAA built in benchmark.

Compared to 314.14, I got +10% with Single 570+TressFX, +22% with Single 570 noTressFX, +22% with 570 SLI+TressFX and 31% with 570 SLI no TressFX.

Not bad at all. Although it was already running above 60 fps with SLI enabled, increasing the possible framerate pool is always a good thing. Could come handy in some difficult scenes.

I would have liked to buy simcity, but I am absolutely not giving EA any money for requiring an always on-line DRM for simcity.

I thought someone already sorted that?,anyways as for this game will get around to playing it eventually(hopefully when its cheaper and my backlog is less:p).seems a great driver for the game:).

I usually boycott singleplayer games masquerading as "online" games requiring stupid always-online just to hide their DRM.. but im a huge fan of sim city and this iteration is simply the best.

It is your money! But let us know how good the game is when you want to play it but your internet goes out, or you are traveling, or EA's servers go down, or if in 4 years not enough people play it anymore for EA's quota to be met, and they turn off all the servers permanently.

It's a slippery slope and virtually impossible to climb back up once you start sliding.

You have to be kidding, the new Sim City game is terrible, even without considering the always-online requirement.

Nope. The only bad thing about it is the server requirement, which has largely been corrected since release. Too bad EA went with that, although it is tied with the achievement/matching system. It is pretty similar to Diablo 3's release in that respect.

I'm willing to guess like all idiot user reviews on metacritic, you haven't even played the game? It's EA. So it's terrible. Even though you haven't played the game, quite the objective opinion there.

Briefly played last night. Tomb Raider brings TITAN SLI to their knees.
Everything maxed with 4xSSAA, frame rate dips into 30s in wide open area at 2560x1600p.

You're pretty hostile for knowing nothing about me. Yes, I've played it. Luckily I didn't buy it, my friend (roommate) did. It's a pretty terrible game. It has it's upsides, but the downsides are way too big to ignore. I'm not going into a full review here, you can go find them elsewhere if you want. Not that you would read them, since apparently it isn't OK to dislike the game or say anything bad about it.

If you aren't running into the same problems or retarded game design issues that I saw, well good for you. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and preferences.

Hmm guess I haven't ran into those areas yet. I'm running Titan SLI at 5760x1080.

All maxed except 2xSSAA and TressFX hair because it doesn't work in SLI for me. It flickers and goes all over unrealistically.

I'm running it with VSync and it's been running 60fps all the time with a couple areas it dropped to 55.
