Nvidia > Ati ???

Im a UCLA grad and all common sense tells me that Nvidia is better, however ATI fanbois defy logic and confuse me. help me.

My gf told me the other night that ATI was the best card ever. I got very upset at her and decided to pull my 8800gtx out of my box and and chuck it at her like a ninja star! It missed her (possibly bad drivers) and hit the wall with great force. I pull my card out of the wall and rushed it to my box. to my avail...the card was fine and i played WoW for 12 hours straight.

At a recent Gamer Convention Nvidia decided to survey players....

on video quality. The secrectly placed an ATI card in one of the machines and a Nvidia card in another. 95% of the people chose Foldgers.

I've secretly replaced the OP's Nvidia card with NEW folger's crystals! Let's see if he notices the difference!

I didn't realise ucla offered degrees in poorly written troll posts 🙂.

But seriously, ther is NO BEST BRAND. It's all about looking at what card is the best value for what YOU want it to do. Don't be brand loyal unless you have a personal stake in a company. Be loyal to the best value for your dollar at the time of purchase.

I buy whoever's the fastest within my budget. I couldn't give a damn who it is. I went from AMD to Intel once I saw the Core 2... I was branded a traitor by my brethren, but I sure got the last laugh when I got better FPS in FEAR :laugh:!

Actually there was no branding, but I did get better FPS 😛.
