How does that work? Someone sees a problem, mentions it, gets told to leave?

How about: someone sees a problem, works to fix it, and the trash leave? I think that sounds and works better.

I think he made a salient point in any case. What was that expression..."Show me the money", yes, I think that'll work here.

No, he blames others for a behaviour he himself shows (like pot, kettle, black)...but that you agree with him is no suprise *shrugs*

Not a lot of choices out there though.

intel would be their best bet if jhh would make the effort to play nice with them. gf would be a strong #2, though I understand their reluctance to go that route. tsmc is...um, like the ex-girlfriend you keep calling for a booty call when your current prospects aren't panning out as well as planned.

I think the answer isn't always so clear cut and there been alot of cheating on both sides. So its hard to truly discern if one team has a 10-20% advantgage. More then likely node for node xtor for xtor generation for generation, they aren't far apart and each brand has one thing it does better then the other.

I own and have owned both. I currently own a plethora of cpu's from both manufacturers.

Really its not that straight forward.

but belive what you like.

how can you say that with a straight face? intel completely wipes the floor with amd on the high end, and they could easily clock their high end cpus quite a bit higher if necessary if amd were to suddenly get their act together and come out with something competitive. heck, unless BD is a HUGE improvement nvidia could just release a 4ghz westmere sku that would clobber it, never mind the ~ 20% improvement that SB will bring. You need to spend some more time in cpus/overclocking before throwing out obvious FUD like this. /rant

BTW, I'm posting this from my 1055t rig that I chose over an intel offering b/c it was for my office. in price/performance amd is fine, but in pure performance they aren't even close.

Please provide us with some benchmark links showing 1090t's apparent superiority.

Here's one for you from AT bench: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/146?vs=142 looks like in one game there is a 1% advantage for 1090t, and the power usage is about 1% lower in that one game. in about 37,417 other tests the 980x wins, in most cases by A LARGE MARGIN. Plus the Intel cpus generally OC much higher as well. ok, /rant #2

sorry for the OT guys.

Do you have a reading comprehension issue ??? when did I say that.

second little missy, my first pc was a apple IIe. I've been around the game long enough, the apple was new btw.

Your post makes no sense, would you care to try again? Please read my posts properly before responding with something that clearly misses the mark. Or don't, and continue posting this drivel *shrugs*.

Let's build our own fabrication plant. I totally have a diamond saw laying in the garage. Nvidia fanboys can sleep on the east side of the plant, and AMD fanboys can sleep on the west side. I await arguments about losing sleep due to the sun rising in the east from the green team.
